Tedx speaker, event producer, and restaurant consultant, Erickson co-owned three restaurants in the DC Metro area before relocating to Austin in 2011. From washing dishes at Pizza Hut as a teenager, to running his own restaurant and bars 15 years later, the food business is in his blood.

He founded Trucklandia Fest in Austin, an annual $10,000 taste-off between the city’s top food trucks.

When he’s not producing his own events, he provides support for national clients including Verizon, Tracking Point, and the National Athletic Alliance, and charities like Keep Austin Fed and Austin Food for Life.

He has been awarded “Entrepreneur of the Year” from Solomon Wealth group for two consecutive years and served as a board member with the Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
